Courtney Griese

Courtney Griese joined AmebaGone in 2017 after studying Dictyostelid and biofilm interactions at UW-Madison, where she earned a B.S. in Microbiology. She has experience in biosafety, lab managment, and multi-agency federal grant administration.
Matthew Wielgat

Matthew Wielgat holds a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He specializes in Dictyostelid biology, biofilm pathogenesis, and wound infection models. As the Director of Research & Development, he leads efforts investigating Dictyostelid–biofilm interactions and developing dictyostelid-derived antimicrobial and anti-biofilm therapies.
